Harvest Moon

I’ve always dug the moon.  It’s “the faithful witness in the sky” says Psalm 89:37.  Click on the picture to enlarge.  Then click it again to enlarge it even more.

This is from the Astronomy Picture of the Day site.

It’s even cooler among the saguaro! *feeling homesick for the desert southwest today*

when i first saw the picture, i thought it on the day of the Chinese Moon Festival where the moon is supposedly the biggest and brightest for the year. i looked it up, and it was on 9/25. off by one day. i wonder if the moon looked even more spectacular the day before?

I agree. The moon is cool. I also really like wind in a similar way…
