Churchism

There are three God-ordained institutions: Family, Church, State. You know how conservatives are always complaining (rightly) about the State overreaching? Statism is evil, right? Well, I think many of the problems with churchianity stem from the fact that the church is overreaching. We’re trying to make the church our whole lives. We’re being churchist. We’re looking to the church to raise our kids and reform government, when it should just be preaching the Gospel in Word and Sacrament.
